Heading back to Canmore, we decided to walk some more along the Bow River and did the Larch Island loop through a provincial park nature preserve.
Mt. Rundle from the Trans-Canada Highway on the way back to Canmore.  Mt. Rundle, particularly from this angle, is the symbol of the town of Banff.
Crossing an old railroad bridge (which is now just a pedestrian walkway) over the Bow River in Canmore.  The Three Sisters, the symbol of the town of Canmore, are in the distance.

Another cloudy day and strong winds, so we went to nearby Grotto Canyon where the weather doesn't matter so much.
